The first phase of the new road is open with outbound buses coming off ring road travelling on the newly laid road turning left at the new junction at bottom of Warwick Road then "doubling back" to enter the station as the new road hasn't been connected yet!

NXC now confirm their route changes for the opening of Warwick Road over the Ring Road.

A couple of standard shelters and standalone RT screens are now erected at the new interchange.

The new interchange doesn't look very big considering the amount of buses using it.

Another bus shelter was being delivered about 30 minutes ago.

Manor Road will be closed permanently from Wednesday requiring buses to from City to enter and leave the station via Eaton Road. I don't know when the bus stands are going to be commissioned.

Buses are entering the station this weekend via Stoney Road and leaving via Eaton Road.
Short work was made of demolishing the bridge over the road.

The routing of services since the opening of Warwick Rd bridge is rather muddled and makes a mockery of Centro's suggestions
In summary NXC and Stagecoach now use the new bridge as promised but others DeCourcey, Johnsons & Diamond seem to not change their routes yet, bearing in mind I'm a passing commuter rather than one who spends time observing.
Probably most annoying for the users of the 87 service which continues it's convoluted routing via Junction 5, however I did see one inbound 539 passing through the Quadrant.
One only assumes those operators continue to follow what the tender states and they haven't been revised/updated yet for the appropriate new routing although some of the services are not tendered either.

The bus stop in Park Road by junction 5 has been replaced with new one with 85 etc and Johnson routes.

They have started putting the kerb in for the new bus drop off point on Eaton Rd outside what was the Allied Irish bank.

A local residents newsletter reports that the boarded up Rocket public house will be demolished this week and site used to assist with building subway between Central 6 and station. The tower outside the station will be covered with netting to allow it to be taken down over several months.
