Road sweeper been cleaning the broad st section under five ways to morrisons and work men have moved a load of their stuff also a crew been road marking the road layout

5th June broad st opens to buses again but no trams yet and five ways underpass remains closed in both direction

Edgbaston metro terminus  aka  morrisons  now looks a right unfinished mess now boards have been put up seperate get the tram stop from the Hagley road

From what I can tell they are now doing the old pavement so it's slabbed.

Hopefully it want take them long to do the works

Road layout changed again load of cones got rid off looks like they are getting ready for buses to use under pass and temp bus stop on Hagley road been moved to the old bus stop site with a gap in the boards for access to the tram stops

Why is this part of the extension riddled with increasing delays.   First target for open was by end of 2021 which was missed and MML blamed COVID restrictions and weather for causing delays, 

Then the mayor said line will be ready for June 2022 and this as again been missed.

They need to hurry up and open the Wolverhampton extension

Pedestrian crossing points on broad street have been bodged up again with cheap tarmac again today by MM staff

And still the tram bus stops at Morrisons Hagley road still not finished

Surley won't be long till the whole section has to be closed for a retrack  :grin: :grin: :rolleyes:

It's just all the pedestrian crossing points that are breaking up and keep being bodged up

i noticed yesterday when i was down at Morrisons, it appears a Driver failed to observe the STOP sign at Morrisons not only did they knock it down, but there is a Tram shaped print in the flower bed were it finally stopped, no idea which Tram did it or when......
