So how was the road test?

It came back with all its windows....... It even went for a road test to Himley Hall too before it got back to the garage.

Some mmcs can indeed move with a fast driver!! 6104 was pretty rapid today keeping up well with the streetdeck in front. All depends on the driver though no doubt

They're all the same. Some MMCs are quicker than others? I doubt it. It's all in the driver. These are too new to have noticeable performance differences. Again, I refer to the old stereotype people have in here that B7RLEs are slow. No way Jose are they slow

If you go on some Pensnett MMCs they can shift, just look at some videos of 6103 or 6108.

This debate has been had many times before on here. Just because a bus has been driven fast, that doesn't mean it shifts quicker than other identical vehicles in a batch. By the same token, if you test drove two identical make and model 2 year old cars, you wouldn't expect one to be faster than the other.

No there wasn't

I saw 2 y reg tridents which can only be allocated to the 246 and 2 crimson tridents which were also probably on 246. There was bunching from what I saw- and I travelled the entire route on 4180

So you saw 4 buses running dead and bunching?  There's only 4 or 5 buses going each way at any time on the 246. I presume you caught 4180 on the 14:30 departure from Dudley (which was 100% time compliant the whole route, so you know there were no problems) as you would have see 4433 running dead at the Stourbridge end of the route to Brierley Hill, but no other 246 missed mileage around that time. I suspect another bus you may have seen was 4198 which hasn't been in service today, but was used as a staff shuttle from the garage to Dudley this afternoon

I actually caught 4180 on the 13:00 from Stourbridge I believe it was 419* that went NIS just before 4180.

Which was the 12:58 departure and left 5 minutes late at 13:03, 4196 which was 9 late presumably just put NIS up to get out of the bus station so that passengers headed for 4180, but was in service immediately on leaving. That journey did not pass any other 246s running dead

I have to disagree there then. Don't know how you got information that 4180 did departure from dudley st 14:30. Surely it would have been in Stourbridge at that time

It's called a software program that tracks ALL buses THAT Tony has access to...

Bet Pensnett thread will shrink tenfold with your stupid and pure nonsense posts removed.

What does a kid know about a bus business in which they have no experience of running compare to a person that has been in the industry for a lot longer and has seen some changes plus know how the company operates?

Does Halesowen know you are missing again?

Question: is it usual for 2 buses on the 9 that enter Stourbridge bus station between 10:30 and 11:00 to go NIS- presumably back to garage? Maybe exceeded driving hours?
