This dont make no sense, In the Summer wont you need more buses, to cater for all the people that are out of work & school

That really is a bit of a silly point to make, why do the majority of people in the West Midlands, Great Britain and world catch a bus?

Either to get to work and school is the answer, and with the schools obviously closed and people scheduling their holiday to fit in with school holidays then demand for buses drops incredibly.

All you have to do is take one look at Stourbridge at the moment, out of the three colleges, the Year 13's or A2 level students have now left meaning that the colleges are around half empty, this means that routes like the 246 at the moment are just about manageable and come the summer will be fairly empty meaning the PVR can be reduced, this pattern is the same across all the network.

The 9 performs well in the summer with a reduction of 4 peak cards but in the term time it carries more students to halesowen and stourbridge than it does into city for an hour in am and pm
