So we have a thread for Birmingham unusual workings, so I thought I'd start one for Tamworth...

To sum up what should normally be on what routes...

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 - Volvo B6BLE 2613 - 2642.
110 - Volvo B9TL 4200 - 4207.
115/116 - Scania Omnilink 3800 - 3809.
765/785 - Scania Omnilink 3800 - 3809.
780/784 - Volvo B6BLE 2613 - 2642.
813 - Dennis Dart (Burton depot)

Didn't notice anything unusual today, except a B9TL Gemini on the 6.

Can't say I know much about Cannock at all, sorry!

Things have been quite quiet here, not seen anything unusual for a few days, which in its self is unusual!

Badger

Does the 76 regularly run Plaxton Centros or is this unusual? I seem to see a lot when I'm up town. Also a Gemini frequents Wolverhampton.
My local's the 3 and 63.
Casual bus user. Doesn't know much other than some buses look nicer than others.
Contractual web developer, self employed game designer/programmer, Wolverhampton bjorn and bread.

Sorry didn't mean Gemini - I'm confusing myself. Single decker eclipse of some description.

it could be an 09 telford one on 890/891/892 or it could be a 57 reg stafford-cannock branded on on the 68/70/76/560 or a new 61 plate one

Thanks for that should have known at least the route once working at ck and sd

Bob

X31 Scania was on the 2 today, the other one was on the X31 so not sure what the second bus was in it? they should divert a couple of new enviro 200s for the X31 it doesnt need full size buses

There was a Gemini on the 6 in Tamworth again today, which IMO is a total waste, it's a short route that is perfectly suited to single decker operation, and besides, sticking a Gem on the 6 means that there will have to be a Scania/B6 on the 110!

Either that or have a Gemini with gear problems on a long haul route...easier to recover if it was to breakdown.

B6's on the 116 and 785 today!

Not sure what's happened to the Omnis!  ;D
