Hi all.
I remember seeing a Coventry liveried O405N towards the end of 2015 in Dudley, pretty sure it worked the X96 but I can't really remember, I just know that I noticed it a few times from the window at college. Does anyone here know which one it was?
Cheers.

It was 1591. Happened on 14th November 2015.

Cheers guys. Any reason why they transferred over Coventry liveried ones, which looked to be in worse shape than a lot of the NXWM liveried ones, at least externally?

As PN sent 3 Tridents to WN up until Christmas so the Merc's were used as covers. Only 2 of them appeared in service (1571 and 1591). They were both withdrawn when the Tridents came back to PN. @DJ98

When 1571 was transefrrred to PN it went straight on loan to WB and did two round trips on the 80 and then got swapped at West Brom Bus Station for a bus on the 48 which went onto the 80 and 1571 went onto the 48.

The two remaining O405Ns were mainly used on the 297 until withdrawal

Made a nice change to see the Coventry ones at PN, shame they were only used on the 297 mainly.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I had the pleasure catching 1591 on the 289 on 29th December 2015 - it was on a late night board. Did the 22:55 ex West Bromwich.

they was kept on the 297 being close to garage if and when they broke down and close to brierley hill fire station just in case they got hot

Jack

Got to ride both of them, on the 297. (Previously rode 1571 when it was at Coventry)
