They were made by an external company last summer and were fitted to most E400s as a cheap and quick alternative to LEDs. They have all the regular rail destinations (and the bus routes) but for some reason when you select "Rail Replacement" the display they wind round to is "Rail Replacement International" or something like that, probably a typing error when they were ordered

I would have thought these days LEDs would be cheaper than paying printers - or even the blank blinds.

The high level platform at Lichfield TV is out of use due to unspecified damage until at least the end of the week.

What appears to be a secret unless you are on the gensheet group is that this means there is no access to the up LL platforn other than via a minibus shuttle from the station to the Burton Old Road carpark.

More than likely, as I presume the limiting factor for increasing the amount of services would be paths in/out of New Street. The only thing I could think of is diverting some Cross City trains to Walsall rather than up to Four Oaks/Lichfield for the duration of the games, if extra capacity is needed.

They have I think said that it is not anticipated that CrossCity will revert to six tph post-Covid so two paths per hour may be available

The X11 is now advertised and specifically noted as available to all and having local fares, although it doesn't say what they are apart from a £6 return to Burton.

Has anyone got a link to the plans for Wolverhampton station - I found the T&W order itself, which refers to the line becomming single before the station stop, but from recent photos this does not seem to be the case - indeed there appears to have been little progress since I was last there in September - the section outside the station isn't even connected to the section in Railway Drive.

Or they are leased and the leasor is happy for them to be kept safely there rather than accept depressed lease prices, or if not accessible no prospect of leasing them?
