The first three BYDs should appear on the 98 late next week, will give more details when confirmed, as postponed several times already. Normally just one bus will be on the route at a time, with the other charging, and one spare (only one charging point so far, so impossible to run more than one bus working as a BYD until more are installed). The buses can probably do about three round trips before needing a 4 hour charging period, but will only be scheduled to do two rounders just in case.

I would assume the charging point is at Willesden garage then-somewhere I applied for a conductor's job in 1996!

All of the Streetlites are for South Yorkshire. A good number of the double decks are for Bristol and 35 are for Leeds.

I would suggest the logos are done in green and a green band either below the lower deck window.

At least fifteen,possibly sixteen,MMC's are being delivered to Western and are being prepared at Kilmarnock. 10511-525,at least,are reported as being for them and 526 could also be for them. Manchester are reputedly getting a large amount of the order too.

No the use of Solos on there is quite frequent, always has been since before the former goldlines arrived on the service

Is the use of a Solo unusual for the X16? If so,I saw 47652-one of the former Gold examples-on it yesterday at the University of Warwick.

Some of the Yorkshire buses are,I understand,for Chesterfield,notably the midibuses. The double deckers are for Barnsley.
