Noticed NX have put Christmas period timetables on the website for 2019.
For some reason the 55 has been missed out and isn't listed under any of the sections: not operating, operating a normal sunday service, or as having an amended timetable on Boxing Day.

Maybe the 55 will be operated by a different operator? It happened with the TDC 43 last year.

Even if that was the case, then it should be mentioned on the website.
Given NX are operating on Boxing Day, I can't see why they wouldn't?
And from what I remember from previous years, the boxing day service always seemed to be well used so I can't see why there wouldn't be a daytime service at least on boxing day.

It might just be an 'oversight'. You could always contact NX directly to confirm this.
Any idea why certain TfWM routes are not operated on Boxing Day?
(In Walsall, that's the 8, 19, 35 & 77.)
Surely all these routes do not have an adequate commercial alternative nearby, else they wouldn't be tendered in the first place?

(Or someone else is operating them, which for NXWM, for one day, I find surprising!)
It does say "if your service is not listed below a normal Sunday service will operate.

Yes I did read that!
I wondered what was different that routes that were normally operated on Sundays weren't being operated on a Boxing Day Sunday service?

It didn't say that when I looked at it yesterday.
Someone has obviously edited since then as the section which said "services that will operate to normal times" has gone and the 55 wasn't listed under that section.
