Title: Stagecoach in Gloucestershire
Post by: Reece on December 17, 2014, 01:02:08 PM
Why hasn't Stagecoach in Gloucestershire got a sticky thread/topic for it?

Also are the Enviro400s on the 94 Stagecoach Gold service due to be replaced with new enviro400s any time soon?

Unlucky for some - Stratford were supposed to send 16460/16174, but they are both VOR.

There are probably some there from all over as is the case every year. But this one stuck out from the set menu West "races reserve" clump.

@BN - There's this one, not sure how accurate it is though:

Try Michael Bonwick's site - all current fleetcards for all Stagecoach operators.  The link should take you direct to the Stagecoach West page.

A new type of bus passenger appears to be improving patronage in Gloucester...

Stagecoach have taken over Swanbrook route 853 from Cheltenham to Oxford this week - it had been suspended for a while but Swanbrook briefly resumed. It would appear Stagecoach are running four journeys daily compared to Swanbrook's three.
;
Pre-deregulation it was a Bristol Omnibus service so back to the direct descendant of the operator who took it over from the GWR.

Part of 15350 to 15370. Some have already entered service. They're for Gloucester and route 10.

                Thanks for the info , the "different" livery threw me for a moment !! It looks like the 10 is a frequent service so hopefully they will not be too difficult to get.

The 10 is every 10 minutes M-F, every 15 minutes Sat & every 20 minutes Sundays.

According to the blurb that Stagecoach put out: https://www.stagecoachgroup.com/media/news-releases/2020/2020-01-30.aspx (https://www.stagecoachgroup.com/media/news-releases/2020/2020-01-30.aspx) Azure blue for its Local service, Amber yellow for Longer, and Ocean green for Specialist.
I would not call the 10 a "longer route" as it is only 14 miles in length with a journey time of 1 hour 30 minutes each way, it has probably got yellow buses as it had Gold Scania liveried buses previously.

There was mention at some point last year of Oxfordshire's S2 extending to covering it, given it's the same route to Witney

Edit:
There's a new registration for this route on the Stagecoach Oxfordshire license, so that likely has something to do with it
