I made this topic to leave any links to favourite pictures from the main site.
My personal favourite has got to be the bottom photo of 1406 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/1317-1514/1406.html)
To see a bus caught in action like that, running back dead I presume, brings back early memories of TWM for me, with the Scanias and Metros leaning right over as you couldn't care less on the run back to depot!!
I always liked this one of Thandi OSV 677, due to the Green Bus Metrobus sneaking into the background
http://wmbusphotos.com/Evergreen/OSV677.html
This is also a nice montage

There is also a photo somewhere of 3 Enviro400s in the 3 different NX liveries side-by-side somewhere, but I wouldn't know where to find it

I like the picture above too...
I've seen a dot display stuck on "Sorryvice" before which was quite apt, given it was a WN Trident
Not my favourite (too tricky to decide), but one of my faves is this bottom photo on this page http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/4475-4699/4658.html (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/4475-4699/4658.html) Takes me back to the good old days when the Geminis sounded new, and the TVs showed something other than CCTV! I also like the fact you can just make out some of the second branding on the bus to the left. I also think the geminis looked nicer in this livery :(

That branding is superb, it would be nice if they build on the circle idea next time they brand buses for the Outer Circle

Oh I agree Matt. I'd go as far to say TWM in its prime was the best livery, best branding buses to date.

I agree also a very smart branding, but the problem is when windows and panels were replaced, the branding was not replaced(like now!) and it looked a right state.
Yes i have got to agree that i really liked that branding for the outer circle :)
How times change... *Sad face*

Bit of a nail though. Nice engine & paint work. Rubbish gearbox & rattly bodywork
I like the third picture of 520, because of how the bus is turning right and I think the 222 branding suited the B6s.
520 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/0501-0830/520.html)
I like the second picture of 565 going up the hill. I found it interesting to see 565 was on the right side of the road then turning back on the left side, it sort of questioned me if the driver was drunk or something lol. I could actually imagine 565 go up that hill by 5mph.
565 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/0501-0830/565.html)
I like the first picture of 604, it looked smart with the "recently" new refurbishment of the NXWM livery.
604 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/0501-0830/604.html)
I like the first picture of 246 going up a small hill while indicating. It reminds me the good old days when I used to travel on B6s and B10s in Dudley. I might be weird but I like pictures of B6s/B10s indicating.
1414 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/1317-1514/1414.html)
I like the first and second pictures, B10s like 1420 did look very smart in that kind of TWM livery. 27 looked perfect.
1420 (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/1317-1514/1420.html)
I know these pictures are just B6s and B10s, I only have a soft spot for them. I don't like any other types of buses in the NXWM fleet. I'm a Wright Crusader guy!

Lovely photo of 4188 on the 94, with the TWM Blue bumper attached to newly repainted NX Livery. Also, the only photo page with a video of the bus on service 957, on Lode Lane.
There is a rather tidy shot of Loco 57312 on the phots site taken at crewe by tony phillips...
Too many excellent pictures from the late Ronnie Morgan's collection to mention.
This caught my eye:
http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/gonebatches/2916.html
Did 2916 or any other Timesaver actually ever run in this livery? I know there were numerous variants of the Timesaver livery but I honestly never remember that one.
The one of 'Elton John' hand jiving while driving in Worcestershire. Can't find it at the moment. Maybe @Tony can help?

Brilliant! There aren't many pictures out there of 6621 to 6630 at Cotteridge garage, where they started their lives. I was 9 years old and living in Stirchley when 6611-20 and 6621-30 were delivered new to Selly Oak and Cotteridge garages respectively and remember my amazement at seeing something different to the dual door NOV---G and SOE---H Fleetlines that were the staples on Pershore and Bristol Roads at the time.
They all eventually moved on to PL and CR garages when the Metrobuses began arriving.
This picture brings back many happy childhood memories.
I agree entirely with Mikes comments.
I enjoy seeing all Rons pictures but this one was superb.
Cotteridge garage not unlike Harborne don't get much exposure so thanks Ron RIP.

Of the thousands of photographs of Ronnie Morgan I have so far looked through (There are still loads more I haven't even looked at yet) This is definitely my favourite

There are a number of pictures taken by Tony at the old Wolverhampton Bus Station on May 28th 2009. Those have to be my favourites, when the old order of proper buses was ending as such.
Also enjoying the Ronnie Morgan collection, mostly the shots of the early days of the low floor tupes soon to be extinct
With just two days left I cannot see this changing much, so the top 13 looked at photographs on the main site this year are

They were as good as identical to drive. The most annoying thing is 5 more were half built at the time ofMCWs demise. If only they were finished!
E 906 always had better breaks though Tony. After all the fantastic coaches i have been lucky enough to of been allocated to me over the last 18 years working for Parrys the coaches i would most like to drive again would be D 932 or E906. I never new 5 more were in build, who were they for Tony ?

East Kent had five on order, and from what I was told from MCW staff the first one was almost finished with the other 4 in various stages of build

7053: this is a new one on me never seen this before an ALEXANDER VOLVO B-55 mk 3 in wmpte colours, early 80s , all the others I,ve seen are N or P plates mid 70s,
So what's the story behind this, does it still exist
It's displaying 127 brandhall is this a short working or did the route only run as far as brandhall in the 80s
I would have loved to have driven one of these, I was told by an ex Oldbury engineer a real proper bus these were, Metrobus no contest

There is a bit of a sad story behind 7053. It was on extended loan from GGPTE for demonstration and was liked so WMPTE tried to order a batch, but was blocked from doing so by the County Council who only wanted to buy 'local' buses.
The vehicle itself returned to Glasgow and served a normal life up there and when it was withdrawn it was purchased by a group down here with the intention of preserving it in WMPTE colours as in the photograph, but it was found to have suffered accident damage in Glasgow and had a twisted chassis which was too expensive to repair
Shame that, a very unique bus indeed , still looks fairly modern imO
2968: former West Midlands metrobus painted in that shade of blue does really suite it, place some gold stripes on it you would almost have Walsall corporation livery.

Ah yes I remember this beast, it spent much of its time on the 127 from my recollections. As far as I know the 127 didn't terminate at Brandhall (wasn't it Cradley Heath in those days?) but it could be a short working as it only had a 3 track number blind so was unable to display an 'E' with a 3 digit number. Sadly I never got to travel on this.

Loving the Bob Cutt photo of 2884 at the old Northfield Bell Hill terminus of the long extinct 73 service. Don't recall having seen any other pictures of buses on the 73 Northfield to Woodgate Valley route. Proof that double deckers did used to serve Swarthmore Road.

Just looking at the latest picture of 4648. It does look really smart on the 11C there. I think the 46xx Crimsons look so much better than the 45xx simply down to the LED display on the front.

@Tony, particular favourites so far are 6683 on the works service in AG, some fascinating social history on display there. And also 6674 with the Cigarette advertising on the side this being as recently as the 90's, and the immaculately turned out school kids boarding. More social history I think. I've never been much of a photographer myself but I think the key to an interesting photograph must be to keep the bus central to the pic yet try to encompass some moments and activity around it, especially where passengers are boarding and alighting, always the best ones I think. Thanks for posting these on your site,
I like this pic:

Because it's almost like I took it :)
My favourite one is 4247 and the third photo of it at PB garage and the dot matric says Not Sorry.
Going through your photos of the Presidents, I can't wait till you add Donal.... I mean these Plaxtons have seemingly stood the test of time !
I found 4086's page to particularly noteworthy because you have a photo of it with the round headlights but in the old TWM livery which I found quite rare as by in large, all of the photos I've seen with Plaxtons with round lights, they're in NX livery.
The first photo also shows 4086 with different headlights which are almost akin to the E400 but slightly smaller. Never seen that before.
Great Photos all round. Can't wait to see additional photos being added.
Really like the Newport Transport photos from the Bob Cutt collection, always liked their quirky fleet of Scanias, in particular the Marshall bodied deckers, caught up with these when Black Prince ended up with most of them after Newport.
Marshall double deck bodies were really unusual, can't think of many others except the Olympians at Yellow Bus and the Atlanteans at SYT, which I can remember as a child riding on many a time in Sheffield, were regulars on one of my routes into town.

Leicester had some Marshall bodied Dennis Dominators as well

Sorry I don't, but I hardly get any trains. Ever.
I have 350102 and some Sheffield trams if you want them though.

What the hell sort of useless comment is that? Not the same type of train nor is it even the same operator
I might as well throw in that I've got a picture of my cat if anyone wants that?
Nice one Kevin :) if you had a photo it wouldn't get posted here!... if it ain't PG it ain't PC simples... :)

Just saying I don't have a pic. I'll take the cat. :P
3225 recently uploaded as I like how you caught two Routemasters side by side and an oldish wedding car as well as the guy in The Baggies Shirt

3225 is not a routemaster
@BusFan94!
3225 is a Daimler CVG6. Central bus JJD 4110, which is parked next to it is a routemaster.
My favourite photo has got to be the photo at the top of 4285's page. Not long after its recent repaint, on my route and it's my stalker. This is the best at PB. Looks the newest out of the lot of them in its interior.
My favourite is the top photo of 2835 on the 11A, from back when there were still Metrobus at Acocks Green and on the 11. It brings back some memories.

Also the top photo of 2988 terminating for the final time.

Some of my favourite picture are of the BCT/WMPTE fleetlines 3430, 3700, 4027 for the NC contrast & 4235 which now sits engineless and is used as a storage area at Wythall Bus Museum
New favourite photo is 2148 on loan to PB on the 52/A. Shame the Destination wouldn't show. I was away today unfortunately so I wasn't able to get a photo or a ride.
Tony, I believe towards the beginning of this year, you mentioned that you'll try to get a new photo of every bus in the fleet (I assume active buses).
I was wondering with 2018 nearly over, how is that endeavor going ?
From what I've seen, by in large, many of the buses have have 2018 as their latest photos, quite a few have 2017. 17 branded 1790 has 2014 ! Given your fairly busy work schedule and the fact this probably doesn't constitute part of it, your efforts are most commendable. I was lucky enough to get a walk around at PN and of the many photos I took, I've hardly got round uploading any and that was roughly 2016 !
Great to see some more old pictures from the Ronnie Morgan collection on the main site. I love browsing through these vintage shots.

Another batch going on tonight, aling with more 2007/8 Central Connect ones
Great to see some more of the Bob Cutt photos Tony, thanks for uploading them. The East Midland ones are really interesting, in various locations such as Mansfield, Worksop, Nottingham, Retford and possibly some in Chesterfield. Always used to enjoy a visit to Chesterfield as a child seeing East Midland's green VRs/Olympians and Nationals and Chesterfield Transport's varied fleet.
