Does anyone know what route they will be doing for Amazon
The services are numbered after the hubs they run to, and both run direct. The BHX5 is for Rugby, and the warehouse is situated off the A426 just after exiting the M6, whereas the BHX7 is for Hinckley and is situated off the A5 just over the M69. However, that one diverts to serve the town centre first.

Correct.
If you head into bustimes website, click on first Leicester, then vehicles.. you'll see the 4 E400's with BHX5/7 and can see a tracked map.
Although, it isn't an exact guarantee it's correct. It gives a good idea.

Could be completely wrong here,
But I'm guessing that they park up 3 of the 4 E400's in Rugby during the day, with the 4th vehicle being used to transport the drivers back to Leicester.
I was thinking about this, wondering how much fuel they'd be using if they did all 4 come back.
Then today.. Bus Times has sort of showed us. Ok, whilst we cannot rely on it, I do think the routes are pretty good. Makes perfect sense for them to have not applied "Leicester" logos to the buses too.
Might be wrong.. maybe they all come back.
If anyone knows any more.. please let us know 👍

It looks like already First have abandoned using the E400s for the Amazon services and are instead using the Braunstone B7RLEs.

I presume you haven't noticed the weather?

Reported elsewhere (by the MD) they're using single decks on the amazon routes to avoid using DDs down the M1 in a gale.

Indeed.
Also the same for this evening on all evening routes around the city centre (including 13, 14 & 54 - which are usually decker evening routes).

35185 (SK16 GVF) has lost it's branding for service 54.

Might be because the 54 is being split up temporarily due to the closure of Abbey Park Road for 9 months
Also debranding allows them to have more unbranded deckers to use on other routes

Details of the changes (including to 25/26) are on the first website: https://www.firstbus.co.uk/leicester/news-and-service-updates/planned-changes/changes-services-2526-54-sunday-20-march-2022

Yes, I presumed if it was because of that.
Appears 35180 and 35186 have also been debranded, with the later being on the 16/74 and the former being on evening 13's.

Anyone know why 33720 has been back on Leicester City services while 69303 has been on the Amazon runs?

From what I have just seen at Haymarket bus station StreetDecks 35181, 35185 and 35186 have been re-branded for tap on tap off - they were previously branded for route 54 (Goodwood to Beaumont Centre)

Edit: 35184 has been rebranded too

35170 (SK16 GUC) was involved in a collision on Humberstone Gate on Monday.

Damage seemed minimal, but based on the nature of the collision, there is no information of whether or not it will return to service in Leicester. Someone has marked it as withdrawn on bustimes.org, which I don't entirely trust.

Seems once again people quickly jumping onto bus times and editing things without actually knowing what's happening!
If damage is minimal, it will most likely be back in service soon.

I would guess the afternoon Amazon Route 7 is not as busy as originally expected, hence they can now operate it with a single decker. Looks like it's still using a double decker in the morning though.
