Noticed 3 white Levantes and 1 D/D in fleet colours from Skills and 2 D/D's and 1 coach from Roberts Hugglescoat park in Abbey Lane Yard yesterday, I presume on layover between school contracts.
Yep I've seen the Skills decker running around leicester too - it had 38A on the back display (I didn't see the front). So I guess they are indeed the vehicles they are using to support the main services as the closed schools services.

35170 (SK16 GUC) has received an overall advert, which is orange, for google.

According to bustimes, it's not been out for a while. (Beginning of July) Maybe the advert expired already?
Maybe they are working on a new branding for this bus?

Speaking of which, the Leicester website is showing from end of August (forthcoming timetables) the service 22 is split into a service 4 between City & Rushy mead, with 22 only running between city & Evington.
Makes sense what with Arriva 5 & 6 both running along Melton Road. I guess the 22 is more popular between city & Rushy Mead hence the change?
Will be interesting if the buses still run across the city, or whether both services actually operate separately.
22's timetable definitely still reflects gaps where centrebus 22A/B operates. I'd of thought by now there would be some sort of "normality" to the timetables, but maybe bus users habits have changed (noticed for example a lot more using the 13 recently during the evenings / nights too, and even 14's look busier than ever! - I think this is the first summer that 14/A hasn't actually reduced frequency for summer too).

Update: service updates are now listed on their website.
Includes also a change to service 16, plus details of the "new" 4, and 22

35176 (SK16 GUJ) and 35177 (SK16 GUO) have both been debranded from the 22 and now carry branding that promotes the tap on tap off scheme.
35172/3/4/5 have all been given revised 22 branding showing the combined frequency with Centrebus.

The 4 and the 22 work independently, the 22 seems to use double deckers while the 4 is a mix of single and double deck buses.

The 22 branding is for '22 to & from Evington' with the by-line 'up to every 10 mins 22 | 22A' (22A being the Centrebus route).

Streetlites 63364, 63365 and 63366 have been route-branded for '4 to & from Rushey Mead' with the by-line 'every few mins along the Melton Road 4 ~ 5 ~ 6' (5 and 6 being the Arriva services - not forgetting 5A, which First appears to have done).

According to bustimes 35170 returned to service today (having not been out since July), on service 74 & 13.
Did anyone see if it's been rebranded from Google, back to spare, or is it still in the all over advertisement?

Still with its all-over Google advertisement. Saw it on the 74 at 14:00.

New timetable leaflets for routes 4 and 22 now available in the First travel centre - they're to a new, larger design.

Only other timetable leaflet currently available is for route 17 - this is the previous leaflet as 17 is the only route to have returned to the full pre-Covid timetable.

That's interesting..
I'd of thought by now these current timetables would be the main (new) timetables. As technically there's no longer any restrictions.
Although I do guess there's still a future service change coming (which would possibly also explain why bus stops haven't had the timetables updated).

Full repaint into orange? Or just branding?

35155 now in orange too 👍
Apparently 35154 is next, and 35168.
