I don't really know. I think 32643's gone to replace 32081 and 32644 and 32645 will go to Worcester to replace 32066 and 32067. To be honest, I'm not sure if they can send 32646 somewhere else. Same with 66965, which I was shocked to see is now one of just 4 KX05s remaining.

I hope the Leicestershire bus preservation people do buy 32646 and 66965, that'd be very good.

There are also only 4 KX05's left. 66963, 66965, 66970 and 66971. I've thankfully been on all 4 of them. Shame about 66972 and 973. I was debating over going on the 13 when they still were in operation, but chose a Streetlite on the 22 instead.

I see that the ukbuses fleet list is showing 37111 as being allocated to Leicester.

I believe I have read that that it's only at Leicester for maintenance / rectification work.

It would be the only B9TL in the Midlands fleet if it stayed, and I assume its only here temporarily.

Does anyone know any facts that are different to that ??

Fairly sure I remember reading Leicester is doing some of the maintainance for Sheffield.

I wish they'd put their new Braunstone and 88s branding and any future ones on their website somewhere like a few other First operations have.

I noticed today that the 'Leicester 88s' branding has been replaced with 'Saffron' branding (including a large saffron flower). This is on 69303 and has replaced the 'Leicester 88s' branding on 69384.

I've just seen a picture of 69382 with the updated branding and I think it looks better. That should go into service tomorrow and 69380 and 69381 shouldn't be far behind it. I just wish they'd put something on the front. With regards to the interior they have black leather seats and still have the yellow dragon of Cadwaladr from their days in Wales. 69249 and 69252 also have that interior.

What's occurred to 66965? I'm guessing 66971 has been removed from Leicester service too, leaving 66970 as the last KX05 here.

For some absolutely unbeknown reason, 66692 and 66693 will be moving here from Worcester at sometime in the future. These are B7RLE Centro's, which will be refurbished internally, as well as upgraded to Euro 6. This was confirmed on the midlandred forum, by Nigel Eggleton. Very strange move...
