Oh, lucky you!

May I ask if there are any other unheard fleet changes, if you can say?

I post the entire group moves on the main site

Do any of you have an idea of what is on the 20 today? bustimes isn't working for Leicester for some reason,

Them reducing the 21 and cutting this, is a good way of them being able to not need so many vehicles, probably meaning we'll shortly see more departures most probably.

The last day's actually tomorrow but today they had 66805 and 66838. I wouldn't think they would as I think they're pretty short.

So the final 20s are 66805 and 66968.

Yeah, I edited that.
The last 2 journeys are about to end, probably late due to the football.

69252 and 69303 arrived at Abbey Lane yesterday (22/10/2019), from Cymru.

Are any more due from South Wales?
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

LazyGuy222

I really don't see why we are getting 2007 and 08 vehicles. They'll be transferred sooner or later too probably.

Also it's a very random selection of 4 vehicles. 69252, 69303, 69382 and 69384

Some strange allocations this week. 32643 has gone on the 13 twice this week, along with 69442 on the 54 yesterday, for the full day. There has almost been a B7TL on the 38/A every weekday, which isn't usually as common as that.

35171 has now not been in service for around a month and a half.
66302 hasn't been out since the 17th, so the end seems to have come for it too sadly.

leicesterbusadventurer

It's been removed from the list, which I guess confirms it. Also, I wonder what livery they're gonna put 69442 in. It can't say it's getting a facelift soon forever.

LazyGuy222

35171 has finally reentered service after something, don't ask me what. It displaced 63347 at around 1300.

Some interesting news.

66852, 66962, 66963, 66964, 66966 and 66967 will all sooner or later be transferring to Doncaster, just like 66842/5/7, to replace their B7L's.

Not sure what is replacing them all yet.

leicesterbusadventurer

Where did you find this out? And it was 66843 that moved by the way, not 66845, that's still here for now.

LazyGuy222

I was talking to a bus enthusiast from Doncaster who has some ties with First. Quite a shame really, Leicester are loosing some good buses.
I don't really see why they can't just upgrade them to Euro 6.

It is not that simple to 'Just upgrade them to Euro 6' It is also not cheap.

I don't know of a Euro 3 B7RLE that has had the upgrade yet, and the first one of any new type one of the retrofit companies does is expensive as there are all the development costs. It will also depend on the life expectancy of these vehicles. Why retrofit a vehicle spendimg a five figure sum on it when it can be run for the rest of its life unfitted.
