I wondered where they were there were the two new unbranded pulsar and 3705/7 on the one. I wonder if allocation will be as bad as that if and when its upgraded to sapphire lol

Arriva's excuse would probably be "to cover for other buses". If these were MaxCi's, then that's fine, cos they're low floor (but how they sold 12 of them and thousands of Europeans I do not know).

Yeah but thats all very well the N*** PUT  Scania's should of been withdrawn 6 / 7 years ago as they are not DDA or "old people" compliant

I think the dead line is either 2014/2015.
This is a personal appeal... For Pete's Sake just save the #!@?$&% Scania's - don't let them follow the Dennis Falcons!

Unusually these days, 4200 was on Tamworth local 4/5/7 this afternoon.
Only Guy Arabs (a choice of 63) stopped at my front door 1957-1964!

Hey!! Never put a good bus to rest :-) ;-) 3468 is a beast!!! If the old people don't like it then they can wait for the next lol

arrivadays

Unless it's the Tesco Shuttle (with only 1 bus running on it) ;)

I do like 3468 - absolutely fantastic. It would make everyone happier if it was a MaxCi, though. Low floor, and the same power and engine. Fun for the whole family!

It still baffles me how only 12 MaxCis were made, yet people preferred to buy hundreds of the step-entrance Europeans... Not saying it's bad, just don't really get it :/

Cracking bus.  3470 was even better but the floor was dodgy and they didn't fancy replacing it. They sent us 3468 instead, really solid buses. If it wasn't for the law change I reckon they would have been overhauled and would all still be going.

I was on 3489 (N429 XRC) yesterday from Wolverhampton back to Bridgnorth and bloody hell what a tank and bone shaker that is!!

Only ever drove 3491 from that batch. Even though they were exactly the same buses I think that batch must have had a harder life as they didn't seem as smooth. The N-PUT's spent most of their life pottering about the Derbyshire villages which might explain it.

So we could have possibly been given 3470? How come they brought 3468 back from the dead anyway?
