I was about to post a similar bit of info, I was told there was one on 516/7 but no definite fleet number. Of course deckers will become common in Pattingham in a couple of weeks time.

I presume ALX400 DAFs will become common now alongside the East Lancs Tridents on the 10/A/B

andyallen4014

That's right due to the school journeys on 10B

Before Christmas either a DAF SDB250 or a Trident was on there everyday.

Dependant on whether the 516/517 is a DAF or a Trident, a DAF on the 10 happens nearly everyday.

Well 4854 was on the 19 today plus a board on the 19 goes onto a 10 in the afternoon.

They all seem to now be treated as the same with allocation on any of the decker routes despite having a lame excuse for route branding for the 10. Unless it has now been removed before the changes?

Trident 4609

No both Tridents 4851/4 both still have the current branding

andyallen4014

Yes, partly due to the 10B having a school movement around Codsall.

Passed 4800 in Perton heading for Pattingham yesterday.
Only Guy Arabs (a choice of 63) stopped at my front door 1957-1964!

2239 on 33/55
2247 on 33/55
2273 on 33/55
2275 on 33/55
3468 on 33/55

Also saw a UWC (Unidentified Wright Commander), displaying "X" on the back desti box. Either it's had an LED failure, or is a "foreign" vehicle that hasn't had its display installed? If anybody can fill me in then that would be great :)

Doesn't X stand for Out Of Service? It does at least at Wednesfield and Cannock Garages

arrivadays

I believe so - there were people on the bus, I should add. And it wasn't full, and it wasn't late...

They usually use the "X" when they haven't programmed the Telford destinations used in the area. I remember when we first got 2218 and 2223, they showed "Have a nice day"... Considering your getting on an Arriva bus doesn't make the day any more pleasant, despite the message ;)

Sometimes, if the Hannover is having a wobble, it will either display not in service (X) or "Arriva Midlands / Arriva"...
