My mate has told me that DAF decker 4801 has been on the 9 in Walsall today

Must have been the same one I saw in Bentley around half 5.

Didn't see any punters on it though.

As I explained to my lift, Cannock passengers are screaming for double deckers while these are running empty from Wednesfield.

Bob

Moat cannock routes are ok with singles but staffords need deckers at certain times definitely!

Thats not all that unusual tbf the 1 needs 5 buses ( I think) and theres only 4 branded dafs, they often use a centro or a volvo on it to make up the fifth. Plus the dafs arent always all allocated to the route :)

They do appear on the 9 every now and again. This is the third time now I have heard of one on there, the first time I have seen one myself

Bob

Bit of a waste of a decker though same as using them on the 334. Neither route needs anything bigger than a dart mpd/enviro

As Nathan said 4800 is on the 9 today. Saw it about 14:45 leaving Bradford Place. Plus 9 branded 2141 is on the 63 (Fordhouses-Bradmore) today

Apparently both burton garage deckers have been on the 7 today does that constitute an unusual working?

That does seem to be their usual route now, the 1 had a Versa on it the one I got a pic off. The rest may have been W-SNR darts, both Geminis were on the 7 on Monday as well

The remaining two Burton deckers are on paper now allocated to the two duties on route 7. Routes 1 and 4 were initially allocated four Versas, but now Commanders seem to be the usual fayre, which seems sensible capacity wise.

Ashley

-km not sure where to ask this but what routes are 2617 and 2634 on today?

arrivaaston

Clocked 1 yesterday, Stafford branded pulsar 3731 on Pye Greens and 2262 Y262YBC on 74/75.     Today 3719/3740 both on service 32
