They've recently hired a new General Manager for Redditch so I suspect he is having his impact on the garage.

Any idea who has been hired? The new GM is responsible for both RH & KR

David Brundrit  so I'm led to believe but I'm not 100% positive

It it's the same person, a David Brundrit was invlolved with RML Buses in Coteheath, Stafford which sold out to D&G in 2010.

Another route that now has an allocation that didn't before is the 57/8 that now have the newish Streetlites.

Which make a very interesting contrast with the "V-reg" double - deckers that also appear on the 57/58 on a regular basis.  :)

Presumably the deckers are still used on there for increased capacity

Tis indeed the same Mr Brundritt who ran RML Travel. Knows quite a lot about running buses, hope he can turn around Redditch.  Was talking to him last week at Stourbridge beer festival, think he realises the job involved!

Hopefully he can turn Redditch around, it has the potential to be a decent operation, cheap fares, low car ownership area & bus friendly with numerous bus lanes etc. He just needs to get the travelling public back on side by providing a higher quality / reliable service, then hopefully patronage will grow as a result. It will definitely be a challenge, but will also look good on his CV if he can pull it off, KR seems much better. I just hope he sticks around longer than David Squire

It seems as if Redditch are slowly trying to allocate specific buses to specific routes with 30402/30933 on the 30 now like the 146 has 30942/32121
A VDL Plaxton Centro is on the 30 today.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

I think that 30851/30942 have returned to TE as I did not see them in Redditch yesterday but I did see 2 of the WF Streetlites which are back from TE

A 63 plate streetlite was on the 146 yesterday.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.
