Nope, wasn't on the journey you said it was, you must have got it confused with 158821

Think train spotting has got a bit bland these days,

Remember in the past standing on Woking station and being so excited when 50050 (D400) arrived shortly after being reinstated and painted into original livery, and nearly being chocked on Waterloo station by 50033 when it was having its exhaust problems (number of piston rings were broken, 50033 was subsequentally banned from Waterloo until engine repairs had been completed by Laira).
