As enthusiasts/passengers, what could be the next vehicle to withdraw from service?

Are you asking us which vehicle to withdraw? Or are you hinting that another bus has been withdrawn and you are asking us to guess which one it is?  Another B6 or Merc I guess?

Well a B6 has just gone, maybe (god forbid) a Spectra, 4019?

a trident, they can take it out of public service and put it into the training fleet. Only joking of course but always a possibility

Isn't 4551 a bit of a rogue, maybe put a modern bus in the training fleet. then they can show drivers what to do when it breaks down, (have only seen 4551 twice and both times it had a tow truck in front of it!)

It seems several services have a slightly reduced pvrover the Easter Holidays. The 59 is one. There is only 10 buses on today compared with the 11 usually on (Excluding any peak boards)

BN

There is only 166 out for the next 2 weeks.

Thanks :). It appears more Spectra's are out on 59's than usual. Probably because they are usually on Schools then parked in Garage but are being put to use elsewhere with no school for the next few weeks.

Interestingly, if you look at the timetable for the 59 on the Network West Midlands website, it says its valid between 13/04/14 to 26/04/14,

It says here about slightly reduced frequency's during the easter period although it has the 59 down as West Brom ;)

It appears there is one less bus on the 59 during the but overall roughly every 6-8 minutes instead of the current 5-6

I always thought that changes like this had to be authorised by VOSA?

Withdraw some green machines or B7RLE's BN. Only joking. Most drivers would say a B6, wouldn't 586 be a good candidate given all the trouble thats had since its been at WN. On the subject of B6's, 600 and 640 have been on 62/62A's because all 15 are having transponders fitted. Is that true?

No, not if it is registered as a ten Minute frequency or greater. Centro are normally notified, hence the timetable saying 13-26th April, but VOSA do not need to know

Thanks Tony, never knew that, how come then the summer timetable changes are shown on VOSA, is this to do with the length of time they are in force.
