Along with there 530 service they now have a monopoly on some parts of the millfields road.

My Version of it what I've heard but still speculation:
62/62A will be withdrawn (Probably end up with Arriva or Diamond)
The 26 will be withdrawn but the 25/26 will become 1 route and run as a 25C (Clockwise) and 25A (Anticlockwise) so they will run in a circle one one way the other the other. One will run a 25 as it is now although extended into the i54 (which is due to open in January) then from Bilston it will continue on the 26 route to Wton still as a 25. Obviously the other way round will run a 26 to Bilston (As the new 25) then from Bilston on its own 25 route via i54. I also overheard that the 6 will progress further into the i54 also and be re-timed
Wednesfield rota and Cannock road rota to be combined i.e 11,25A,25C,28,32,33,79 will become 1 rota so there could be many boards & interworking routes if this happens. This is only what I've heard so don't quote me but I also wonder as the current 25/27 interwork on evenings & Sundays how the 27 will be effected

Surely they won't operate the 26 section of route on Sundays as the 26 doesn't run on sundays (Diamond operate the 26A) so they might operate a 25E on a Sunday to Bilston.

Also is The 59 on its own rota or the Wednesfield Rota?

59 is on its own rota as is the 1 and 529

When the 25 was introduced, evenings & Sundays were split between NX commercially (Wolves & Bushbury only I think?) & Midland tendered (New Cross to Bilston) wasn't they?

Did NX just win the contract from Midland or did they decide to introduce that section of route commercially themselves?

If the latter, surely they would do the same on the 26 themselves or are loadings that bad?

No i believe the Evening and Sunday 25 is tendered. You might find evenings and Sunday's The 25 will operate as a 25E to Bilston (As the current 25) with Diamond covering Wolverhampton-Bilston via Goldthorn Park with the current 26A.

Another possibility could be that the 26A contract could be up for renewal next year (just a thought)

But the 26A goes to Stowlawn so wouldn't tie in with the new 25 and withdrawing the Stowlawn part would leave that estate without an Evening/Sunday bus service

I know you can never be 100% certain, but I'm looking at going to Wolverhampton soon and travelling on some Spectras.

Therefore, I'm trying to find out what routes are almost guaranteed to be a Spectra operated (assuming there is no change bus/rare working!)

Thanks

pb2012

Routes 11/32/59 nearly always have spectra's?

crepello

Was over there during the morning last Friday and as stated the 11/32/59 produced and 4005 was the earliest travelled on.

Can anyone let us know what the plans for these buses are as i see 4003 has just been withdrawn!

Plans as i gather through various people on this forum are they will be withdrawn over the next 12 to 24 months maybe sooner depending on what NXWM decide to do?

depends very much on spare parts and whether anything serious failures occur. i understand that WN asked for one Spectra to be withdrawn, so must have been a serious problem?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
