Traffic management may be involved Matt

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Fair point, although I'm not sure why traffic management would be necessary

Exactly Matt! But it is due to Alfred Squire Rd and Neachells Lane are at Gridlock with the traffic. Then there are vehicles trying to turn round as they are not aware of the diversion ahead.

Also buses are having to set down and pick up on Alfred Squire Rd also causing delays.

Its easy saying "How is there so much traffic for a small diversion" but you should see the traffic

I like the sound of that! Is this just speculation though, where did you hear this?

Ashley

I believe the initial ideas floating around are that the 25A will be withdrawn leaving the 25, this is the route it will follow. Wolverhampton to Bilston will run as 25A, the vehicle will then run back to Wolverhampton as a 26. Vica versa, the 26 will run from Wolverhampton then that vehicle will run back to Wolverhampton as a 25C, numbers not seen since WMPTE days. Obviously these are only rumours at this stage so its not our place to speculate until all is certain. Added to that, the 62/62A are rumoured to be withdrawn from April 2014 however at the moment that is also a rumour

Will this see the start of full size single deckers and maybe the odd double decker on the 26 route (Well when its joined with the 25) Didn't a similar thing happen with the old 527/8?

Well saying that B6's operate mainly on the 25 anyway :)

Kevin

Didn't the 25 & 26 used to be one complete circular route at one point? If so, guessing there was a reason they split it up in the first place?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Yes i think it did years ago following the old 525 route from Wolverhampton-Bilsto continuing the loop back to Wolverhampton via Goldthorn Park. Tbh the 25/26 work as they do seperatley.

Also aren't the 62/A tendered?
