Noticed the 59's operation time seems to have been extended about an hour at night, looked at the NWM app for a stop on the route about 23:45 last night and there were departures due every 12 minutes for the next hour or so

Oops must have been a mistake on the app then!  :-[ The last trip is still the 23:24 from the Bus Station to Ashmore Park.

You sound embarrassed, are you responsible for the app in some way? :)

The 4 buses on the 255/6 today are 4560,4578,4590 and B7RLE 2023. The 255/6 was allocated B7RLE's on Sundays but as of last Sunday through till Christmas-New Year it now has Tridents.
But 2023 was also on there today.

Thats because 638 is "a bag of spanners". Last week it had developed a loud hissing and ticking noise so we'll see what it does this week

When 638 was on the 636 I did, it wouldn't even make it up Mucklows Hill without a massive trail of blueish smoke following it and progress was 4-6mph. Luckily you'd be 5minutes early by the Stag so you had time to cool it down. Fantastic buses the B6's, I used to love them - Until Centro ruins everything.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I like B6LE's, but the ones WN have been given aren't any good, and thats because they only just make it or give up when climbing The Holloway on the 62A

What was the usual allocation of the 254 in 2009? As I just found this on Google Maps

You would find a few Excels on the 254/255 as more B10Bs got withdrawn, also the Sunday allocation was Excels
