Sorry to ask but which bus has the replacement come from?

Either 502 510 or 544 possibly?

Would love to think 502 is still living on! But yes could have come from a load of recently withdrawn B6's, which must mean other than the engine 600 is very sound otherwise it would have made more sense just to reinstate on of them

Probably a stupid question, but if 600 has now got the engine of one of those B6s, would it now sound like that bus used to? As I loved 502 because of the way it sounded

Likely to be from one that's been at Miller Street

4566 on 256/7 today

Along with 529 branded 4605!

Don't think 4605 actually did a 257, it seemed to enter service in Wolverhampton late afternoon, did a 256 trip to Stourbridge and back, then the last NXWM 255 to Merry Hill

Trident 4609

Didn't see if it came into service at that point so just assumed it was already on there. Thanks for  the info matt :)

Many services are on diversion in Wolverhampton tonight due to the closure of part of the city centre. Not sure on exact routes, but the 126 is leaving the bus station by the 27's route to Snow Hill, then normal line of route. The 255/256 are leaving by 27 route to Snow Hill, then up Temple Street to return to normal line of route. I noticed other services including the 2, 3 and 26A also using Temple Street, wish I had had more time to see all routes' diversions

Lichfield St (After the junction with Princess Square and Queen Square) is Closed tonight (And was last night as Matt said) from 18:00-22:30 due to the Enchanted City Diwali event (Light Show,  Music Concert, Entertainment etc) meaning no buses can use queen square/Lichfield St in either direction

#548
As promised by Simon (NXOD) before he left, Tridents have been allocated to the 255/6 on Sundays in the lead up to Christmas. Seen 4554,4556,4578 and 4609 all on the 255/6 today. Was still B7RLE last Sunday.

Looked strange seeing tridents on the 255/6 on a Sunday

Trident 4609

All 5 unbranded B5's (5510-14) on the 59 today. First time all 5 B5's have appeared on a Sunday

The PVR of the 255/256 on a Sunday is 4 buses, I have seen 4554, 4568, 4578 and 4609 all multiple times today so not sure where you got 4556 from

Because 4556.(Yes BL53 EEU) was sat there in the Bus Station displaying 256

Looks like 4003 was in an accident in the bus station this evening, sat there with hazards on displaying route 59, with no front bumper. Not sure what it crashed into, 1676 and 4602 were also sat there but neither appeared to be damaged. Several police and NX officials were in attendance. 4003 was then driven off by an engineer towards the garage, followed by 1676 and 4602.

DOC37V

Followed 638 down the A449 yesterday on the 25, sounded like an absolute bag of spanners, unhealthy thick black clag too.
Preserving a bit of West Midlands heritage with 1037 and 1849.

Noticed the 59's operation time seems to have been extended about an hour at night, looked at the NWM app for a stop on the route about 23:45 last night and there were departures due every 12 minutes for the next hour or so
