Think that would have done the 15.45 from Bartley Green. Looks like it replaced 4637 then (same board as the 09.32 from West Bromwich which 4637 was on)

Think you've replied to my wrong post!

Crash In The Bus Station Sat Night approx 9pm on the 19th Oct involving a Diamond Dart and I think 4563 on the 255/6 stand. I don't know the details accurately but it appears that the diamond bus left the stand and collided with a the NX Trident as it was passing but as I say that's what it looked like to me. I saw the Trident later running private with a missing window and a nice little crease just past the door on the n.s  :o

I bet I know what that was. The 81 uses the stand behind the 255/256. The 81 operated by Diamond departs Wolverhampton at 10 minutes past the hour and the 256 at 15 minutes past the hour. At 21:10 the Dart driver pulls off, does not check his mirrors or somehow does not notice a great big Trident coming to pull into the stand in front to load on the 256.

Correction the bus was 4593 involved in the incident not 4563 It was dark & I didn't get a really good look at it last night but have seen 4593 today, futhermore 4563 was on the 529 today. Further to Matts post 4593 was not in service when it collided with the diamond bus which was on/just left? the 255/6 stand and yes I think it was on an 81

Would love to think 502 is still living on! But yes could have come from a load of recently withdrawn B6's, which must mean other than the engine 600 is very sound otherwise it would have made more sense just to reinstate on of them

Probably a stupid question, but if 600 has now got the engine of one of those B6s, would it now sound like that bus used to? As I loved 502 because of the way it sounded
