Makes no difference to me, i was just curious after reading some of the fb posts. Hope someone wouldnt get sacked for an error.

Slightly connected, but this morning,  coming into work on the industrial estate in Willenhall,  that has The Range on, a foreign lorry driver had done a similar thing.

I saw 4934 today and saw that the availablecar rear advert is coming off and as it was driving away it was flapping on and off by the rear lower window

Curious about 5409 - which now seems to be in regular use - any thoughts on whether the next 54xx conversion might be 4 cyl or 6 cyl diesel - OR something different such as electric? Interesting to see whether 5409 remains a one off!

As well as the 1, 54xx seem to have been regular performers on other routes such as 11, 15 and 16 (in fact almost 100% contingent on 15, 16 on at least one occasion) - presumably the length of 15 and 16 gives good opportunity to use the fuel consumption saving when running electric in the built up areas.

not seen 5409 much, first few days it was on wn's 11 service. 5402/12 seem to stay local as they have appeared on the 11 more than any route lately, although i saw a post on fb with 5402 on the x8 other day.

5409 was on the 1 earlier. There are a couple which haven't tracked for ages, presumably off the road.

5403 & 5405 are the only dead pair.

5416 has been dead but currently has a faulty tracker

Are Platties overheating?

Had to transfer from 6795 to 6765 at Shepwell Green.

I saw one on the X12 at about 23:00 Saturday night which had the fan going so loud that the driver got out to have a look before carrying on - the fan was so loud it was covering up the music playing through my headphones when I was about 50 metres away from it.
