Well certainly those on the 74, 80/A and 82/87 seem to have reverted back to the old displays in general.

Have they? Nearly all of the 80 branded buses are using the new style for the numbers

I've seen plenty of the 80/80ᴬ with the old style scrolling displays again, yes.

Ahh, my bad, I thought you were referring to the numbering. To my knowledge the scrolling displays were never removed from the 80 branded buses, happy to be corrected

Yes they were. They used the newer static displays at one point, with the via points flicking between a couple of options. Now most of them seem to have gone back to the scrolling displays with the 80A using the bigger A again too.

Hmm... I'm not sure about that one, maybe all the MK2 E400s, but not sure on 4914-4925, the only ones that spring to mind that display the old numbering are 4917, 4923. I'll keep an eye out for them, as I see them daily

West Bromwich is a mixed bag between which ones display the scrolling and static displays, 4922 also features the old scrolling settings branded on the 80.

Bringing things back on topic, 2059-2062 have now gained dark green 5/5A branding; replacing 2120-2123 which are now debranded.

If anybody is chasing 4957, it's on the 15 - 10:50 from Wolverhampton to Merry Hill and so on.

From observation, the 32/33/79 has been Platinum MMC operated for the past 3-4 Sundays, i can only assume they've stopped using Tridents and this is now the norm as they do with the 15/16 & 59... using newer double deckers (E400hybrids and MMC's respectively)

Looks like the X7 is being withdrawn from 2nd June from the registration on VOSA.
The X7 has disapeared from where the current service numbers are shown on the registration (in the brackets) from that date, which now only shows X8.
Presumably that will free up some of the Platinums and another service will be converted to Platinums?
