That's not what I remember, but I do know that one of the routes was Platinum before the other one (900 or 957 I forget now!). Certainly I'm sure it was the case at Walsall, when all the Platinum routes launched at once.

Birmingham Central: 900
Walsall: X51, 997
Wolverhampton will be the 529.

6711 and 6712 were in service on June 4th 2015, 6713+ had still not entered service by June 27th 2015.

I would imagine the 529 will get them first given it won't need as many as the 126..
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

At least one should now have 529 branding on

Does it retain its pink branding?

I hope it isn't green anyway! I don't want the platinum branding to be 50 shades of green along with the 50 shades of grey in the livery!

Will the 16 plate MMCs be reregistered before entering service on 66 plates or have they already been taxed?

If they do gain 66 plates, I wonder if they'll be Birmingham (BX) plates or not

Doubt it; having said that, I shouldn't think too much of them having BX plates either.. Our newer buses haven't been registered in Birmingham since the 14 plates(?)

If they get reregistered, NXWM will have to do that surely, which is why I'm thinking they'd put Birmingham plates on.

Were the last Birmingham registered buses the Sutton Lines batch of Enviros?

Yes.

That's wrong though. The last Birmingham registered buses were Coventry's Eclipse 2's.

Saw one last night in the dark which is why there's no photo, the 529s have branding similar to the current Platinums except it's a red/Crimson colour - not too bad or obtrusive I think...

There are currently 6 at the garage and more on the way soon, I couldn't catch all the fleet numbers however 6760 is the one currently being used for type training at garage and the bus station.

Rumours suggest that they won't appear in service until next week at the very earliest and it'll more likely be the middle of September when they have more ready for service (wheel tags, radios, ticket machines etc).

@Dom re the 81..... I have been reliably informed that the trees on the 81 have been "pruned" as per the council programme however there is currently no plans for DDs to run on the 81 right now... Current restrictions for the allocator still apply, singles only at the moment. Hope it helps!
