@NXDom you're probably thinking of 4566 when it was in TWM livery.

4566, 4313 and 4327 when they were in proper livery

Does anybody know what has happened to 4002 and 4018? Both haven't been seen for a long time?

A driver did tell me that he saw 4002 in garage but he failed to specify whether it was having repairs or whether it was parked up at the back of the yard?
4018 has been parked up 4 some time withdrawn due 2 corrosion I'm told
4019 also withdrawn though I thought that this was common knowledge? I hear corrosion is a factor with the Spectra's now along with availability of spare parts I mean these things are getting on for 20 years old now. It would be a pity if one wasn't preserved however

So, 4019, which it was common Knowledge that is was withdrawn must be an optical illusion out on the 1 today!

So maybe it wasn't withdrawn, simply hiding in the 'strategic' reserve fleet  :D :D :D

Hopefully they will be withdrawn soon! Probably get more cast off Tridents ::) I heard the 126 is having Platinum vehicles in the summer. Any truth in that?

Seems very unlikely, I think it has been fairly well established on this forum and what has been announced elsewhere, that the Platinum vehicles are going to BC and WA in 2015, none for any WN routes.

It was mentioned at the 100th anniversary of buses celebrations in Centenary Square last year that the X51 and 900/57 were the planned routes. However, surely that does not take up 58 platinum buses, which has been quoted in press releases?

As the X51 interworks with the 997 now that will have to be included too. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 934-936 upgraded as well. The 126 couldn't really be included in it's current form, unless it was upgraded to Limited Stop, the all stops current route doesn't fit in with the Platinum brand.

126 will probably get the normal e400 mmc. Whats the PVR for it?

I believe that is correct. 126/21 and 126/22 come out of garage in the afternoon.

Saturday is 18 or 19 vehicles I think

And on Sundays there are 9 buses.

Looks tidier than the WN Mercs used to be, 1695 seems to be in very good condition, externally anyway
