Get your last ride on 2 WN vehicles tomorrow before they get withdrawn.

1650 and 1660 were still hanging on in service yesterday. Both on the routes they were working on Saturday

Apologies for jumping back a few days but I got 1682 back to my hotel on Saturday night working the 20:45 from Wolverhampton to Dudley route 27 which struck me as being very late for a Merc to be out on a Saturday night or maybe not unusual as it was my first time to stay in Wolverhampton.

The 25/27 services interwork at night (And on Sundays) so Mercs off daytime 25's will work the 27 if booked on a late night board. There is usually at least one B6LE on Saturday night 25/7's which comes off a daytime 27/A too alongside a Trident

Spectra's stay out on evening 11/32/33's too

Stuharris 6360

very full 2071 seen heading through Bearwood towards Wolverhampton around 21:20 ish tonight!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

4609 is currently having a new engine fitted after the last one 'blew'

I was on 1682 on that journey as well. I boarded at Sedgley for Dudley then did two more Mercs on the 243 and 276.

1650 and 1660 aren't withdrawn. Have been told they're still in traffic

Haven't seen 1650/60 since Monday plus with Tony posting that they are now out of use

They have been withdrawn, unless your source is from engineering nobody would know really.

I was told by one of the engineers at the open day that the last Mercs would go in September so I suppose we will just have to see if that timescale works out....

Yes i was there too :) As i say the TWM ones will go but i guess its a case of us waiting and seeing what happens. It depends on if WN get new buses or cascades and how many. Unfortunately i am as clueless as everybody else about the new buses. NX's priority is to have all the fleet in one livery as soon as possible so getting rid of the Mercs will cut the number of buses in TWM by quite a bit.

Are all the unbranded E400H's in the garage today? Not one so far on the 59. First bus was 4577 and this trip is always a hybrid

A route extension idea for 3 castlecroft to fordhouses once an hour extend from fordhouses to Penkridge (X3 maybe?) So there is a every 30 mins frequency between wolves and penkridge with arriva's 76?

Be a waste of diesel. With Arriva's 76 plus Select's 877/878 coupled with an as you'd expect low level of bus use in that area. I can see the logic but it wouldn't catch on IMO
