B7RLE on the 002... first time I've ever seen it.. usually a 'on the double' Centro. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

- can I just state what excellent condition and quality bus it was. I didn't have a tool to get fleet or reg, but I'm sure there isn't many to chose from!

There have been at least one non-oo2 bus on there since 30808 was VOR for its various repairs etc. Solos, cadets, pointers, crusaders have all made it on there. Was it an eclipse or eclipse 2 out of interest? I would imagine it was one of the eclipse 2's which are in amazing condition and are really smart buses that don't have a single rattle. The secondhand eclipses aren't as good...

I tell ya what.. I think it was that brand new one that started service completely white.. did it get painted?

The one you are referring to is 30923 which never got painted here as it went down to Wessex.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

There are two Centros missing at the moment (808 & 811), so two non-002 buses are on each day, these are often Eclipses. Both 30940 and 30941 were on today.

Went on 30811 only the other day....

30810 is by far the best one though

Perhaps 30811 is having issues and is on & off the road. 30806,7,9,10 are all on every day alongside 2 other buses.

30134 and 30405 on the 50 - are either of these unusual?

I wouldn't have said so particularly as with the only signature route on a sunday being the S3 it is inevitable that long acre will use their newest buses on other routes ie the 16/50 and even routes like the 27 which incidentally 20913 was on today which seems a permanent transfer to LA, along with 20606.

Yeah the 16 was fully Hybrid today, I wasn't sure with the 50 though, but as you say it makes sense if the Versas are accessible.

The 16 and in particular the 50 actually seem to do better on a sunday with GreenBus not operating-the buses often seem busier than Monday-Saturday, the levels they used to be at before GreenBus arrived on the route...
