It's the Diamond 17 that goes under a low bridge in Cradley (ironically the one that 4253 got deroofed on back in 2009... ironically the billboard near it had an advert for Nationwide "strong... stable..."!

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Does the 002 not get occasional single decks on it anymore? The 16A has a Single Decker in it nearly everyday.

Yes, there's now often more single deckers on the 002 than double deckers the past couple of weeks, since 2 x Tividale Streetdecks transferred to Burton & two more are being prep'd for Manchesters interim fleet.

There seems to be issues with the 002 currently, only 3 of the usual 5 buses tracking. (edit 40819 has been removed from Diamonds fleetlist on bustimes, but is still in service today on the 002 - so there's 4 of 5 buses tracking)

The 002 operated by the streetdecks was the most reliable I've ever seen it. Let's hope sticking these older buses on won't impact it's reliability

The Streetdecks going to Manchester will return Jan 2024 onwards, i.e. once the new ADL E200MMC's are delivered & *may* be joined by the additional 5 x Streetdecks 40825/28/33/40/43 which have been retained by Rotala, but stayed at Bolton rather than transferring to the West Midlands with the rest.

As Winston has said, it has had more recently, but prior to that it was pretty much all streetdeck.

40829 was on the 45,weirdly enough it was displaying the 96E to the fort on its display a route that would turn it into an open topper!
