When is the redevelopment of Cradley Heath interchange due to take place? From reading the above posts, the grant paying for the development must be spent by the end of the 2014/15 financial year, so it can't be long before we start hearing more about it.

Talking of improving buses in Brierley hill, has anyone seen that idiotic new placement that's been put on the high street?

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

A replacement bus ?

No. Clue - now all the traffic will get held up when a bus stops!

It'll make a difference for the cars blocking the stop though, i thought the idea of the by-pass was so cars didnt use the high street

They wouldn't get round, the pavement where the bus stop is has been extended so now the bus doesnt have to pull in to the stop.

Great, see what you mean. All they need to do now is fill in the bus lay by outside the library and that will stitch the street up good and proper.

When is the redevelopment of Cradley Heath interchange due to take place? From reading the above posts, the grant paying for the development must be spent by the end of the 2014/15 financial year, so it can't be long before we start hearing more about it.

I actually wonder whether this will happen now?

With Merry Hill being sold, will Centro enter talks with the new owners and try and get the ground for the bus station they originally wanted?

The money would be far better spent upgrading / providing a new larger bus station at Merry Hill including the original bus priorities. The new owners at Merry Hill appear to be more pro public transport than Westfield ever was

I do hope so. There is nothing wrong with Cradley Heath interchange but Merry Hill is desperately outdated and uncomfortably cramped. I would love a spacious development similar to Stourbridge, perhaps integrated with the mall entrance and exterior business entrances (Pizza Hut etc.)
