Is it not an out station now for Leamington as that's where they park the open top tour buses

DIAMOND BUS LTD
Route: Birmingham to Stratford upon Avon
Service number: X50
Service type: Normal Stopping
Effective date: 23 Jul 2022
I've been meaning to have a ride out on this route one Sunday since it started, guess my time is running out then.

I would guess that any tendered replacement won't be running all the way to Birmingham city centre.

Quote from: Straightlines on June 29, 2022, 01:29:56 PMReplacement services to be operated by Stagecoach Midlands following retendering.
That also may explain why Diamond are curtailing the X20 between Solihull and Coventry (will they renumber back to 82 I wonder?), as the '20' part of the route between Shirley and Stratford was a Warwickshire tender I believe.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I came across the following yesterday.

In case that link doesn't work, x4 former Johnson's Scania Omnilinks for sale at £32,500 each.

A further x11 B7RLEs for sale between £7,500 & £10,000 each.

Diamond have updated their website to show the Stratford area changes.  Basically, most Stratford and the Leamington services are withdrawn from 24 July, including the services they ran before the Johnsons takeover (15, 27, 229/S).  The Solihull - Stratford section of the X20 will be withdrawn from 14 August: -

https://www.diamondbuses.com/news/diamond-midlands-review/

The only ex-Johnsons services left will then be the 87/88, the X20 between Solihull and Coventry, and the NFU services in Stratford (N1/N2).

.....  and the 149 / 149S appears (to me) to have survived with Diamond.

In the case of the X20 between Stratford & Solihull, the actual wording is:

Will operate current timetable in full until 14/8/22. From 14/8/22 service will operate between Coventry to Solihull only. We understand Warwick County Council intend to tender a replacement service for withdrawn Solihull to Stratford section.

The X20 may well remain in its current form, should Diamond be the winning bidder (and keep it as a through service).

Yes indeed, along with the 64 and 150.  Unlike the others, these are Worcestershire contracts (I presume they are funded, not commercial).

True - that is possible.  FWIW I see that a variation for the X20 service registration has not yet appeared on the Vehicle Operator Licensing website.
