I've just seen this photo of a versa on the 50 advertising the £2.50 return tickers. I wonder if this will be rolled out on all displays of the services that have the special £2.50 return tickers offered for them.

I understand that if you want a request stop you have to inform the conductor or train crew for the train to stop at the station. How do the people boarding at the request stop get the train to stop at their station is it done by someone at the ticket office who contacts the train to ensure it stops?

This is probably the weirdest post ever but people when there young imitate cars like ferraris and there engines and how they sound. Has anyone ever or can imitate a bus engine sound with there voice/mouth. Now this will decrease my Karma just interested be good to hear some examples if people can record them see if we can guess the vehicle type. Just a bit of fun.

20851 now seen working in Kidderminster was on the 3 today

There is an incident near pool meadow bus station tonight from what i could see is that a citaro bendibus and merc both had there hazards on not saying they were involved they just may be stuck due to the incident

Does anyone know if diamond has any particular rota's for their drivers.

As the drivers on the 4/4H/4M seem to be the same.
The 301 seem to have the same drivers that are on 42/43

Just wondered if there any others or any that are fact.

Just saw a diamond royale centro on rail replacement services seen at Tame Bridge Parkway. This is the first time I have seen diamond operate any rail replacement services. Also operating rail replacement are green bus and a PB leather omnilink.

Just came across a photo of this NX Dundee solo branded for the 4 service and known as the mini the minx service and I think it looks excellent would be brilliant to have a similar branding brought to NXWM or NX Coventry.

I noticed today that this bus has had it's diamond fleet names replaced with Hallmark today whilst it was on the 16.

Theres a photo of the bus on the link below but the photo still has the diamond fleet names on but from seeing it today it has the Hallmark logo seen on the bottom left of the web page link. Which is just a variation of the hybrid logo. It must have had it changed for some sort of press release for hallmark.

The new diamond bus website officially launched today and looks very professional and quite easy to use. Also includes all the updates of service disruption with links to these through twitter and facebook. Much better having one website including all the 4 brands (black/blue/red and signature). Not sure if this is related to why the more recent acquisitions in buses have been painted all blue with just a diamond fleet names (unless their pool buses) as the website uses the same logo colours and style applied to these buses.

Just saw a diamond cadet on the 4 heading from Walsall to West Bromwich was full , diamond apparently still operating services according to network west midlands website probably depending on road conditions.

Has anyone else noticed how some drivers are now wearing a new uniform, brand new blazers with shirt and tie and a new coat with rotala on. Makes the drivers look smarter and gives a more formal approach.

Spotted today were 1869/1871 both on the 1 debranded from the Foleshill Road services also noted was 1872 debranded but still on the 20, is this to allow new branding similar to the one used on the 4 and 37.

Just saw in the bus magazine for Jan 2013  there will be a diecast model produced of a NXWM spectra looking to be on the 79 service due out oct/nov 2013.

I noticed the old 37 touchwood connection buses are parked at Tividale garage along with a few other older blue diamond darts will these see further service with blue or black diamond or are they for sale or waiting disposal.  They could be used to replace some of the older S/T reg darts in service with black diamond.

I've noticed diamond have introduced a £1 city hop ticket, but have no information on what the return fares will be on specific services they just say up to £3.40 which is not much use as normally the 4 and 301 offer cheaper fares.

I have noticed on some of the new enviro 400 abellio have purchased for the London operations copies the same seating moquette that NX uses, i know that some of the buses will have the same as they were Travel London buses before they got sold but would have thought Abellio would have used a new seat moquette for the new buses to bring in a new identity for their seating style.

An unusual working of an X reg trident working on the park and ride south, every day there seems to be 1 or 2 of the electric buses missing must be having issues with them. Normally an mcv evolution convers or a loaned versa but today it was a trident very rare.

I have noticed the royale centro's have been appearing back on the 4 service over the last 2 days with 2 appearing on both occasions which is good to see. As there is normally 2 on the 202 and 4 on the 56 leaving 2 spare but their normally used on the 301 so makes a change seeing them on the 301. Also they have their blinds updated to show the 4/4H and 4M but now they seem to put solo's and the shorter darts on the 301 which is questionably diamonds busiest service along with the 4. Not sure which people believe is the busiest though.
