That makes sense, can't see them selling it that quickly. I remember it took them ages to sell off Washwood heath from memory.

I read that orginally they were going to close Bordesley instead of Lea Hall. Does anyone know why the decision was reversed?

I would assume that these routes went as they were not commercially viable, so why bring them back. Just my view. ;D

When they first came out, it used to be like riding one of those dodgy old school coaches with loads of people smoking and the old people couldn't get on them as the stairs were so high.

It's on the National Express site under service changes.

Not happening until July.

What do people think of these guys as an operator?

They have come a long way since operating dodgy old coaches on the 94; to these days operating in my view much better standard of transport on the 94/55/71 etc ?

They are creating a 55A that is basically like the old 54 only it will run to Chelmsley Wood. Seems like common sense has prevailed. The changes are even being made public early, again another positive.

They used to do it and call them "Timesaver". Quite a while ago.

Maybe i use the in correct phrase, however 94 did used to recieve newish types vechicles with branding and I suppose more attention and focus than others etc. Non of the above are currently applicable, that is the point I was trying to make.

In terms of an X529. The 966 i'm sure used to be limted stop between Wolverhampton and Walsall and that went.

In terms of an X80, a similar route used to be the 979, that went.

In terms of a Chelmsley wood route that was the 962 and then later the 994.

Bristol Road had one called the 963.

I think they all used to be branded as Timesaver and had a different livery.

94 also used to be a flagship, now that is going to pot too.

I remember a night bus 914, never a limited stop variant. When was that
#1874
The 900 used to do that years ago. X routes through Birmingham just do not work due to traffic.
