Finally managed to complete haulage on all NXWM and NXC. Set myself a target of completing the task in 3 years and have done it in just under 2  years. Happy days.

National Express West Midlands / Train breakdowns
November 08, 2012, 03:35:43 PM
If a train were to breakdown on the cross city line at e.g. Selly Oak where would it be recovered to. I'm not too interested in trains (sorry) but buses yes. Just curious what would be the procedure in the event of a breakdown.

On my way back from another futile attempt to spot 586 & 661 in Coventry a spotter (presume he was) got on 2118 in Lode Lane about 1240hrs. It was the same person I had seen on Moor Street about a month ago talking to a policeman. Seems I have more luck spotting spotters than I do buses.

BCT had 2 Matador recovery vehicles. I have just come across them on Flickr. One was 107 and the other 117. Which was the one based at Harborne?

The Archive / All over adverts
July 08, 2012, 11:17:51 AM
Has NXWM got any "all over advert" buses in service? I remember 2 fleetlines 3480 and 3487 used to be Everton Mints and Mintex. Can anyone remember any others?

The Archive / Longest and oldest
July 04, 2012, 06:34:59 PM
This question must have been asked before but I cant find the answer. What is the oldest route in Birmingham that is still operating to its original route give or take the odd deviation. Also what is or was the longest route in Birmingham time/distance? I was told it was the 69 route of 1999-2004 Weoley Castle-Heartlands.
