Re-sprayed? nope it's still in Black Diamond livery - DiamondDart although I imagine that if it does stay in Kidderminster it will most probably be sprayed into Blue

Sorry-one was reported at repaint. Maybe 30828 is at Kidderminster still in black. I was sure someone reported 30822 as repainted overall blue-at Redditch/Kidderminster.

Thanks for correcting me on that :)

30828 is definitely still Black Diamond.

That link takes me to mid 2012 but think I have set it up with more posts per page so it doesn't work as well...

I imagine the gist of it was that it was on the 56?

I am deeply in love with 30828 she is absolutely beautiful I made myself take a ride to Stourport just because I wanted a ride on it! I hope she's staying in KR she is a very much needed asset to KR I must say the 08 plate isn't as luxurious as 828 however I'm yet to take a ride on it so until I do I can't compare

Glad you like the royale centro-they are fantastic buses. Out of interest, during its repaint, has it had aspects of the interior deep cleaned and out of date notices removed?

YN08NXL is comfortable enough and in very good condition with few rattles but the seating is a bit tight and there is less legroom than on other centros. Nice high backed seats though and would be good for something like Private Hire

30406 was new as a 50 seater, it must have an extra row of seats/tighter seat pitches in it over a standard Centro which is normally 45 seats

It is listed as a 45 seater in the fleetlist on this site but what you say makes good sense...

Bus lists on the web says otherwise
http://www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk/index.htm?http://www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk/list.asp?ListName=299&Type=Body&Page=16&WW=0

This photo also quotes it seating 50

Thanks for that info-bus lists on the web is usually very accurate as it uses lists from Plaxton etc so I'll trust that...
PSV Circle have always recorded it as B45F with Alton Towers & Go Goodwins. Rotala currenly list it as a 45 seater and I suspect they know how many seats are in there own buses

Surely it would have to be classed as DP45F, anyway if it has seatbelts and high backs?
I am sure rotala do know how many seats are in their own buses, however we were just speculating as to why the pitch was tighter and several sources say it is a 50 seater. As with any fleetlist, there will be mistakes, there is 30802 and 30805 for example listed as a 35 seater when clearly 38, and with many of the 3000. centros, I sincerely doubt some seat 45 and some 49. 30000 is a 45 seater like most b7rle/centros are. And 20182 is listed as seating 28 which is less than most MPDs when it is far longer and having been on it, it has more seats than this!!!!

Another Black Diamond Dart SLF noticed parked up at Kidderminster today. It was a full size one and from what I saw of the reg appears to be 30439 W567 JVV

Sam,

Are the Black Diamond B7RLE/Centro's still there as well?

Winston,
I did wonder this myself and had a good look as my bus went round the roundabout. Its handy on a Sunday to look as the depot is closed with no workings. I could not see any Centros, just darts and the three solos.
The Centros must have either gone home to Redditch/Tividale or are inside the depot.
Hope this helps.

Cheers Sam,

I would have thought Tividale would have been better loaning KR Darts than Centro's anyway to keep in with the existing fleet

Yes I agree completely. I think the Kidderminster operation is more suited to Darts than Centres, which I should think are much better deployed from Tividale.

That said, there are the three odd Solos that don't fit in with the extended Dart family at Kidderminster.

If Rotala could have acquired more of the high spec ex Transdev B7RLE, I think some of those should have gone in to KR to upgrade the X3, but looks unlikely to happen now
