They would be I0608 & I0610, as I6008 & I6010 are VDL SB200/ Wright buses that originated with Arriva Scotland West.
That's right - apologies. I0607 and I0609 are the others

Two McGills branded Levantes, I6008 and I6010 I believe, have arrived in Dundee this afternoon.

I would imagine the East Coast buses thing is because one of their internal systems cannot deal with 5 digit numbers
I think that's correct - it's something along those lines anyway!

which won't include fleetnumbers
As per the Public Service Vehicles (Open Data) (England) Regulations 2020, the vehicle identifier will need to be provided - whether this is a fleet number or not is a different story.

However, if NXWM, or any other operator chooses to anonymise this, I know bustimes does allow for edits so that the correct fleet number shows on the site. An example of this would be East Coast Buses B8RLE vehicles which show as 3051-3065 in the TfE data feed but are actually 10051-10065 in reality (and show as this on bustimes).

I'm not sure what the benefit in anonymising or not providing fleet numbers is though, especially as (almost? I've not checked) every other operator who provides AVL location data to the BODS provides them. It's not as if it's commercially-sensitive information either given that the fleet number is visible on every bus in multiple locations.

It may actually come to the surprise of some that bustimes is not primarily focused at enthusiasts - but "ordinary" bus users have found it useful to know which bus to expect, its livery, whether it's a double decker, etc.

Presumably, it's the one that wasn't in the two photos that I have seen (at the Xplore depot), or it's been changed since it was seen on a test run in Falkirk.

At least 8 of them have the camera mirrors; all are now delivered. They're not smart hybrid, but have stop/start fitted.

And my point was the very route you mentioned i.e. 28/29 is having more existing buses upgraded to Euro 6 with exhaust treatment upgrades (as per NXWM's existing fleet), with more to follow according to the press release. Dundee with a total fleet of 114 aren't going to get 18 new Emerald's every year, looking at the numbers, the 28/29 is quite a high Pvr.
Correct - 28/29 has a Monday-Saturday PVR of 15. Despite 7 (out of the 18 BU06 reg) B7TLs being Euro6 compliant, very rarely are all of these vehicles deployed on the 28/29 in one day - presumably due to maintenance requirements, or the way they are parked at night in the depot. Moreover, 9 out of 18 47-- Geminis are required for Fife Schools.

Last I heard, which was some time ago, was that the new vehicles were to go on the 1A/1B which has a Mon-Sat PVR of 8.

I dont think they will convert the 06 plates for adblue and then have them sitting in fife all day.
All of the MD- schools were 06 reg B7TL Geminis today. Only two fitted with AdBlue were on the 28/29, where the 7 of them were intended for...

Only 7 out of 18 have been converted, and Fife only needs 8 deckers.

Fleet numbers 7011 -70184681-4686  Are the allocated buses to us on the fife schools .Each one of the 7011 etc. in turn is getting a full retrim ,The seats are threadbare and all are badly needing it. Fife council have a 15 year rule on contract buses so it will be interesting to see what we get next term.
Likely the 47-- batch that the service drivers don't like!  :D

It's been fairly regular recently. Fife school buses are usually red Geminis - so 4681-4686 and 7011-7013/7015-7018 - but Scottish schools finish at the end of June, so they're being used in daily service now.

Doubt we will be getting any more E200MMCs. They're completely useless for the majority of our routes, because of the abysmal turning circle on them.
