Just out If interest how long does it take to fully charge an electric and does it last a full day or do the buses have to pop off service for a refill, ans could we see top up facilities at terminus's, I remember when Decorcey had a fleet of electric Versas for the P&R and there were charging facilities at Memorial park.

Speaking strictly as an enthusiast I can see it still being a thing, could bring back the circle above the door and then colour co ordinate the red stripe, so for example purple for the 8/X8 would look great. Depends which way NX want to go with it, on the other hand most bus users know what routes they use and tend to stick to the sake routes so is there a need for branding??

Hi, quick question for Drivers or passengers who use the 10A, how do buses turn arround to come back to Wolverhampton in Partingham, from what I can see on Google earth there is either a small pull in by the shops but looks a little tight for an eclipse or in the mouth of the road near the Pigot arms, bit random but saves a trip to find out, thank you muchly for your replies in advance 😉

Tbf makes more sense as at S&D can swap for the fast Avanti services, I know it can be argued that Can do this at Birmingham NS or wolves but same platform at S&D, still feels mad can get a train from there too Edinburgh

Did Midland red west ever run on the 120 (now 12/12A) seem to remember getting on a lynx and Verde on these routes when I was younger???

Quote from: markcf83 on February 10, 2024, 02:44:01 PMDidn't that become the 112 ultimately?
Isn't this ultimately the x3 and Litchfield to Burton x12 today, remember the 112 being in town, also remember the X12 when Midland Classic Ran it to Sutton as used to be able to get to Derby in 2 buses X12 and X38

Asumingq buses coming from Kates Hill (12/x8/7) will use station Rd/Castle Hill to get to the Broadway, will be intresting to see if anything will come through the town centre streets normally not used by buses.

I know the idea is to demolish the bus station in January however I read that Dudley council had imposed traffic parking restrictions from the 27th November 23, is this to prep for the closure or is this the date the Current Dudley Bus station will be closing??

For me it would be the 81Y between Birmingham and Oldbury via Cape Hill, Londonderry Langley Village and the 88 Birmingham to Blackheath/Dudley via the same route up to the Merryvale then causeway Green, Brandall and Blackheath, 81Y purely for nostalgia, as a kid it felt very different seinf the white blue and orange buses compared to the standard metros/Lynxes on the 120, however, since the 88 was cut there was no connection restored between causeway green Rd and the city meaning either a lengthy walk to the 126 or 120/128 (now the 12 and the 13) was also handy for getting to Blackheath from the top end and quicker than the 128. Obs this is just a "If you could" I'm sure there is a valid reason why both routes were axed.

Predication would be the Sutton lines as they tend to be the go to for new bus types at PB, seem to remember them getting the presidents, then volvos few years after and the first e400s, would be nice to get them on the x3 to Litchfield... only time will tell.
