Noticed a number of vehicles with destination faults in the last few days:

2406 (Thurmaston) - rear sign not working.
2746 (Thurmaston) - rear sign not working.
3810 (Thurmaston) - rear sign not working.
4200 (Wigston) - side sign not working.
4205 (Wigston) - side sign not working.
4746 (Thurmaston) - rear sign not working.
4748 (Thurmaston) - side sign not working.

The rear on 3810 hasn't worked for over a year!

Two more:

4217 (Wigston) - offiside part of front sign not working.
4416 (Wigston) - rear sign not working.

A bit of dual-door action on the Uppingham Road, in Leicester, on 23/01/2020, with 3103 - YX17 NLD noted in use on route 55.

StreetDeck 35119 arrived at Abbey Lane today (18/12/2019).

And according to the recent updates, 69249 and 69380 should be at the depot as well.

Just because they've transferred 'on paper' doesn't necessarily mean they will be 'at the depot' yet.

Both 63068 and 63069 are now in service in Leicester.

StreetLite 63358 has entered service in Leicester today (10/12/2019) on routes 16/74.

South Yorkshire StreetDecks 35117 and 35131 arrived at Abbey Lane today (06/12/2019).

StreetLite 63365, dressed in Christmas vinyls, operating on route 17 today (05/12/2019).

69381 was out yesterday (02/12/2019) on routes 16/74 and is out today (03/12/2019) on routes 14/14A, in full Welsh attire.

66967 and 66968 are now with First York.

66314 carted off for scrap, by PVS, yesterday (02/12/2019).

69384 is on the road for the first time in Leicester today (02/12/2019), sporting 'the Leicester 88s' livery. Seen here in Eyres Monsell:

35190, 35191 & 35192 are all on loan to 'The Red' (Worcester), doing park & ride for the Victorian Fayre.

32627 & 37158 from PMT are also in use.

Unfortunately the repairs so far have not worked and parts have had to be ordered.  I am expecting them repaired by Tuesday night at the latest.  Not a good situation at all.

I noticed both 2571 & 4200 in service, on 27/11/2019, with working destination equipment. Glad they're sorted but the problems took far too long to remedy; I hope lessons have been learnt.

As an aside, the side sign on 4200 now does not work and I've noticed 4416, another Wigston allocated motor, running around with its rear sign not working. Obviously, both of these are required to meet PSVAR legislation.

To make matters worse, Solo 2571 was allocated to late route 44A on 22/11/2019, still without working destination displays. This shows utter contempt for bus users and demonstrates operational ineptitude. There would not have been any shortage of buses at the depot at that time of day. Running in the dark with a bit of paper in the windscreen is inexcusable. It's like jumping up and down, waving to the Traffic Commissioner, highlighting your own lack of compliance and begging to be taken to a P.I.

Why on earth are drivers taking these buses out in this condition? Makes me wonder if there's a culture of fear and intimidation at Wigston depot...
