The white font on the big sticker looks much better than black like the 33.

Oh and onto Tony's point, yes Pheasey is classed as Walsall, well the taxes go Walsall council but the postcode is B43!

I say town meaning Birmingham but a lot of people mean Walsall!

This is just getting rediculous now, every route branding is different, surely NXWM have had enough identity problems and this is only going to add to it, they all look badly finished, ill thought out and plain pointless, can't wait for the bumps and scrapes and broken windows to start which as we all well know will be replaced with plain unbranded panels and panes which will start to kill off the branding! The only one in my opinion which works is the 126 branding, which has lasted now a good 8 years, probably 6 years longer than all the recent attempts! This is because it is clear, simple, and actually serves a useful purpose in explaining where the long route actually does go.

What`s happened to the connector bars?

4841 and 3 others, all branded for the 21 were all parked at the side of Coventry garage today, are some not ready for service yet? As none of the ones that had returned from London were in service today.

Looks great and Im sure that no one will be confused by the city centre/birmingham/coventry thing. Bus users arent that inept

John

Another thing I noticed yesterday that 4832 had been given an old 21 display, as the number is on the left and it says via Pool Meadow.

Not keen on the colour  :o, but the design is more effective, and more informative, rather than just "Every XX minutes..."
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Havent been to Coventry for a couple of months but does anyone know if 6021 still has its number on the left side too, this bus has never had the number on the right like the other bendi buses at Coventry but this could of changed recently.

I can't remember seeing one with the number on the left, as I was only looking for 6012/17/18. That doesn't mean 6021 has not had it changed (might not have been out on Saturday). Will be going back in October so will look if no-one else does before.

To be honest, I do like it better than the 33/51/935/X51 style branding.

The 997 should recive a branding like that I think ? same with the Sutton Lines

Anyone seen if 4835, 4839 and 4840 are branded yet?

Yes all those three done, just 4830 left unbranded, 4835 & 4839 were the two I happened to photograph yesterday, now on main site

Are there any plans to brand any other route on the Coventry network ?

Daniel541

4830 didn't receive 21 route branding! There are 4831-4842 have 21 route branding.
4842-Again faulty destination equipment!

I have read from a good source on Flickr that there are 3 routes in total to be branded in Coventry (one been the 21).

If im guessing i would think the 13 and the Foleshill Road routes would be the other two services. With the Foleshill Road omnilink getting the new branding style. Another candidate may be the 4 service and branding some of the citaro bendibuses.
