I spent an hour and a half on the ringway this evening from 20 past 6 until 10 to 8 and saw the following:

4432, 4586, 4385, 4656, 4070, 4635, 4578, 4529, 4960 & 4930.

It will be interesting to see what turns up over the next few days - there was certainly some variety today!

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

PN 6119 has just arrived in Birmingham. Was originally supposed to be a Trident but they ran out of buses. It's on LX1 today. First run is the 13:45 departure from Birmingham.

I take it these rail replacements essentially shuttle between each station

It's a mix of express services calling at Sandwell and Dudley only and stoppers calling at all stations

Looks like it's normal service on the railway today (even though it's a bank holiday). Quite a few buses out at the moment including 4878, 4776, 4939 and 4586 which I'm on at the moment.
