With V Festival rapidly approaching I thought I would start this post to highlight information on vehicles being used on the V festival shuttles.

As the service is normally all double decker I am thinking in particular of the remaining Spectra's and Presidents.

If these aren't in use on shuttles the extra weekend PVR for the festival should guarantee some use of older vehicles around the system in place of transfers so should be an interesting few days for observers!

Any help from those in the know would be gratefully received!

Thanks,

Dave

It should be Presidents, Tridents and B7/ALX400s. Two drivers have asked if they can have two of the remaining Spectras each day, so they may come out as well. Two of the vehicles being used will probably be their last journeys in the West Midlands as well

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
