Have been reading about this incident in the French press. Absolutely horrific. Just shows that cctv and other current industry measures are useless in preventing violent crime. Glad to hear that the bus company are to be dragged over the coals - hope the perpetrators get 30 years in a mixed prison in Marseille.

The 9 was going down belle vale, whilst the 002 seem to city down the back of volley gate and follow the 13 route to the lutley oak

The crash was by the bus shelter just over the brow on the hill heading towards Stourbridge by Vakas Balti. There's a 9 & 002 trapped in both directions plus a number of Andy Frieght artics heading towards Stourbridge.

The Bristol - Nailsea routes X8 / X9 have recently passed from Weston Depot to Marlborough Street, so could be drivers new to the route don't know what roads in the local are are like. However, all running boards give details of the route to be taken when running dead. There really is no excuse for getting stuck you can see the triangle above the bridge and buses give height details. I think somebody may be picking up a P45 or find themselves stuck on the 5 with Plaxton Darts!!

That whole complex in Cape Hill is an accident waiting to happen. When I'm trying to turn left off Cape Hill into Windmill Road, cars are always cutting across me to then brake and pull up in the loading bay outside Greggs.
