looks like a gemini to me very unusual for them

It's unusual for any bus. I've been on that one or one of the DAF Geminis from Uttoxeter to Burton a few months back and I was worried it would combust at some point tbf because they get ragged so much.

Do we know if it was a single or a decker

All I know is I have a slightly bad feeling it's someone I know that was involved. As John says, whether it was a single or double decker is completely irrelevant.

CCTV released of the fatal accident in Coventry a few years back:

Stagecoach are in court on Friday facing charges.

During my time working in the Sainsbury's, they replaced the ATM machines (unrelated to the accident) and there was a huge crack all the way down the wall. I suspect that had he been going any faster, he'd have actually gone through the wall.

Stagecoach Yorkshire 35228 was partially destroyed in a fire incident in Rotherham yesterday. From the rear it still looks intact but pictures show the front of the bus has completely gone.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

There's more to it than just 75 hour weeks, he'd had numerous warnings about his driving, and had been involved in several accidents prior to the fatal crash. Stagecoach, the company, are liable and have been charged; they face an unlimited fine.

Trident 4194

Platty on BC24 involved in incident with pedestrian on war lane. Apparently not drivers fault.
