Trident 4194

@Ronnoc what makes you think that tridents are renowned for having engine fires. What are the stats for tridents in nx catching fire. I thinks it's very slim.

Look at how many Trident fires there have been compared to other engines.

A 'Trident' is the chassis, not the engine. Tridents are powered by Cummins engines which also power Darts / E200's / E300's / Solo's / Versa's to name but a few.....

As a consequence there are a few unusual vehicles on Yorkshire Tiger services in Halifax today, seen K Line and Tiger Blue liveried Solos and Arriva Yorkshire VDL decker 1611 and E200 1002 in use on town services.
