One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

until it cought fire

21** (BC) - came onto Colmore Row, with "Private" on it's blinds as opposed to NIS. I assumed it was meant to do the 0805 24, which didnt turn up, so I put two and two together.

The inspector(?) was "summoned" by the driver, who both walked to the engine area to see the problem... Not too sure of what happened next.

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

6116 seems to have lost it's front screenwash panel in an RTA... (Not my photo, credit to Flickr User 2206 IO)

First E400 MMC casualty I think, a couple of days to tidy that up in house or Carlyle?

Tony

No, 6131 was the first. Currently at Carlyle after a Diamond bus drove into the rear offside

Gareth

4501 with what looks like rear near side RTC damage on Priory Queensway. Engineers currently scratching their heads how to deal with the bent body panels and the metal framework sticking out the back.
