One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Another bus got stuck in the pothole in Solihull town centre; he eventually got it out! Then a b7rle lost his near side mirror to a Gemini!

Interesting how Rhys Hand posted a tweet on his Twitter account in the early hours of this morning saying he "will be absent from work" today - not long before the time at which the fire is alleged to have started

Not that far from Bristol to Merthyr either is it

All I have to say about that is hmmmm...how coincidental. :-)

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Coventry Telegraph reports an incident on Holyhead Road, Coventry this morning:
http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/horrified-drivers-holyhead-road-left-8366144

That looks like the stretch of Holyhead Rd only covered by the 900 - I think the Diamond 82 runs that way too on its way to Solihull.

Quoting the article: "It was a single-decker. No passengers were inside."
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

May have been running dead

The timing given suggests it was likely heading for Coventry Rail Station to commence the X30 service at 0650.

Is that DeCourceys or NXC? Sorry for my ignorance regarding Coventry.

Ah. Then I am not surprised the steering 'snapped'.
